Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a multiple inverter device of a higher harmonic current or reactive current control type which does not need two serial transformers, by using a 2nd constant voltage control circuit to control simultaneously the voltage of two DC capacitors. CONSTITUTION:The charging current is decided by a 1st constant voltage control circuit 5 with the voltage ED1 of a 1st DC capacitor 3-1 defined as the feedback value so that the 1st DC voltage is constant. This decided charging current is used to charge 1st and 2nd DC capacitors 3-1 and 3-2 of a PWM converter. At the same time, the voltage ED2 of the capacitor 3-2 is defined as the feedback value to add the output DELTAEC obtained from a 2nd constant voltage control circuit 9 to the output voltage EC of a 1st single phase PWM converter which is decided by a 1st constant current circuit 7. Thus the compensation is ensured so that the output voltage of a 2nd single phase PWM converter is equal to (EC+DELTAEC). As a result, the voltage of both DC capacitors are controlled at one time. Then the fixed current control is possible for the DC capacitors and a multiple PWM inverter device of a higher harmonic current or reactive current control type is obtained.
