Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation of output light for high coupling by a method wherein a photocoupling separation means is provided between the lens system focusing the output light from a laser oscillator and the fiber for measured light, and the output light from an auxiliary laser light source is introduced into the laser oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The output light 10 from the pulse laser oscillator 1 is focused in the lens system 2 to reach a port 5. An interface part 4 having a directivity coupler 9 between the port 5 and fiber for measured light 12 is provided to lead to the port 7 the photopulse inciding from the port 5. The injected light from the auxiliary laser light source 3 is led to the port 5 via the directivity coupler 9 to excite the light focused-inciding into the auxiliary optical fiber 8 at the port 5 for the reduction of the fluctuation of output light. Thus, the fluctuation in a radiating direction can be reduced to enhance the coupling efficiency for stabilization.
