Abstract
Device for focusing a light beam and system for transporting light energy using this device. The device may comprise a confocal telescope L2, L3 between a receiving lens L1 and a focusing lens L4. The system may comprise, in addition to this device, a power laser and an optical fibre 6 onto one end of which the light emitted by the laser is focused, while the light coming from its other end is sent onto the receiving lens. Application to the welding of machine parts.
