Abstract

PURPOSE:In a controller for a turbine for driving a boiler water feed pump in a power plant employing a high and a low pressure steam sources, to quicken the response in the control of water supply in the single operation in the power plant which follows a power line failure, by applying a high pressure turbine exhaust pressure signal as a bias to a water supply control circuit. CONSTITUTION:A driving turbine 2 is moved by high pressure steam 3 and low pressure steam 4. When a feed water increase instruction signal 9 is received, a low pressure steam valve 6 is first opened and a high pressure steam valve 5 is then opened. When the single operation in a power plant (FCB) is started, a contact 21 is closed by a FCB signal 26 and an exhaust pressure signal 23 is modified in a lead/delay circuit 24 and then entered into an adder 20 to apply a bias to the calculation signal 19 of a water supply control computation unit 12. For that reason, even if the low pressure steam source of BFPT is lost due to the single operation in the power plant, no signal is delayed so that the opening and closing of the high pressure steam valve 5 can be controlled in quick response to the single operation in the power plant.
