Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal heating from being caused by windage loss in a thermal power plant with a turbine by-pass line, by detecting the closed state of a ventilator valve at the time of joint operation after the starting of a turbine to forcedly set a regulating valve at a degree of opening not lower than a prescribed level, at the initial stage of the opening of the valve. CONSTITUTION:Steam generated by a boiler 1 flows into a high-pressure turbine 3 through a regulating valve 2 and performs work. The steam is thereafter supplied to a medium-pressure turbine 6 and a low-pressure turbine 7 through a reheater 4 and an intercept valve 5. At the time of shifting from the turbine starting to initial loaded operation, a steam flow rate signal 16 is processed through a regulating valve flow rate section 17 and an intercept valve flow rate section 18 to control the regulating valve 2 and the intercept valve 5. When a contact 20 is turned on by the closure of a ventilator valve 12, a minimum regulating valve opening degree bias 21 is applied to a higher level selection circuit 19 to open the regulating valve 2 stepwise and keep it at the minimum degree of opneing until the output of the regulating valve flow rate section 17 becomes higher than the bias.
