Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the quicker and low-load-fluctuation switchover of a turbine controller between throttle control and nozzle control for a plurality of steam regulating valves, by providing a bias signal processor. CONSTITUTION:In the operation of a turbine under throttle control, a flow rate signal 1 is converted into a throttle control valve position signal 10 by a throttle function generator 8. The signal 10 is passed through a changeover circuit 18 and supplied as a signal 12 to a steam regulating valve. A valve position signal 20 produced by subtracting the signal 10 from a nozzle control valve position signal 9 in an adder 19 is applied to a processor 21 through contacts 28 so that the signal 20 is converted into a nozzle control bias signal 22. The signal 22 is subtracted at 24 from the flow rate signal 1 to generate a nozzle control flow rate signal 26, which is applied to a function generator 7. When switchover to nozzle control is started, the signal 9 is sent out as a valve position signal 12 and the contacts 28 qre disconnected from each other to gradually attenuate the signal 22.
