Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the production of unburnt ingredients, by opening the one end of an induction passage on the upstream of a throttle valve in a secondary intake air introducing passage inwardly from the inner wall of said passage while keeping a predetermined distance. CONSTITUTION:In a fuel feed system of a carburetor 6, a venturi 17 is communicated with an intake port 3 by a primary intake air introducing passage including intake passages 24, 9 and an intake port 4, while on the other hand a venturi 31 is communicated with a combustion chamber 2 by a secondary intake air intorducing passage having intake passages 37, 10, 12 and an intake port 3. An induction passage is constituted of a pipe 83 and a passage 84 protruded above the upstream of a throttle valve 38 in a passage 20, a pipe 85 opened above the upstream of an intake valve 5 etc., the opening part of the pipe 83 being projected from the inner wall of the passage 12 by a distance (h). Accordingly, liquid fuel conveyed along inner walls can be prevented from being sucked into an induction passage.
