Abstract
PURPOSE:To control the production of unburnt carbide ingredients, by shunting a base end of an induction passage opened just above the upstream of an intake valve to a branch passage 21 so that said induction passage is opened to the downstream of a primary throttle valve and the upstream of a secondary valve. CONSTITUTION:In a fuel feed system of a carburetor 6, a venturi 17 is communicated with an intake port 3 by a primary intake air passage consisting intake passages 24, 9 and an intake port 4, while on the other hand a venturi 31 is communicated with a combustion chamber 2 by a secondary intake air introducing passage consisting of intake passages 37, 10, 12 and an intake port 3. An induction pipe 83 opened just above the upstream of an intake valve 5 is communicated with a primary throttle valve 25 through passages 84, 85, 87 and a hole 88, while a branch passage consisting of a passage 89, a pipe 90 protruded above the upstream of a secondary throttle valve 38 in the passage 12 etc. is communicated with the pipe 83. Thus, a flame propagation speed within the middle and high speed ranges can be prevented from lowering.
