Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a photocell structure with good mass production and low cost by forming a plurality of photovoltaic elements having a p-n junction on a substrate and connecting in series the elements with a conductive substance. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of N type CdS films 2 are formed on a glass substrate 11, P type CdTe films 3 are then superposed on the films 2, a carbon electrode 4 is formed, an electrodes 5 of In or the like is formed, the respective elements are connected in series, and a resin layer 6 is then coated as a protective film. Thus, a plurality of photocell elements are readily formed on a substrate with mass production.
