Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous operation of a device for releasing a locked track, by resetting a counter, which counts the number of times of detection for the locked track, by a clock signal generated at a prescribed period. CONSTITUTION:A frame number is inputted from an input terminal 1 and is compared with the value of a register 6 by a frame number comparing circuit 2. The comparing circuit 2 discriminates whether contents of the register 6 coincide with the new frame number inputted from the input terminal 1 or not in accordance with the timing signal inputted from a terminal 7; and if they coincide with each other, an output is generated. A counter 3 integrates the output of the comparing circuit 2 and is cleared when a signal is applied from a clock generating circuit 8. When the integrated value exceeds a prescribed value, the counter 3 generates the output to a generating circuit 4 for driving signal of a locked track releasing device.
