CONSTITUTION:Display glass base plates 3, 4 are laminated on both surfaces of a glass base plate 2 of common center, and external electrodes 5, 6 being transparent electrodes are exposed for both surfaces to one end 2a, and another end is also provided with external electrodes 7, 8. The external electrodes are shortened with conductive paints 9, 10 at the end. As to coating of conductive paint, a linear conductive paint group 12 is coated on the surface of a base member 1 such as rubber, a plurality of two layer type liquid crystal cells 1 superposed neatly are abutted, the conductive paint is transferred to the end of one ridge 2a of the glass base plate 2 and the external electrodes are short- circuited.
