Abstract
PURPOSE:To obviate the increase in injection ports despite an increase in the number of laminations by providing at least one communication hole communicating all cell spaces with each other to all intermediate support plates, and providing a through-hole electric conduction part for transfer of electrodes in the communicating hole. CONSTITUTION:One piece of intermediate support plate 20 is disposed between a pair of outer support plates 10, 11 by maintaining a microspacing by means of circumferential edge sealing parts 30, 31 serving also as spacers. One piece of liquid crystal injection port 40a is provided to one outer plate 10. A through-hole 90 penetrating through the plate 20 is provided to the plate 20 in airtight spaces 50, 51 to permit communication of the spaces 50, 51 with each other. A through-hole electric conduction part 90a is provided on the inside wall of the hold 90, so that the pattern electrodes 20a on the top surface of the plate 20 and the common electrode 10b transferred on the top surface of said plate 20 are transferred through a lead electrode 20b to the rear surface of the plate 20 by the part 90a.
