Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a cyrindrical non-aqueous electrolytic solution battery which is positive determing type, highly reliable, and in a large energy density, by adjusting the amount of a negative lithium and fixing a collector piece at a part of the negative electrode in a vortex-shaped plate group. CONSTITUTION:An expand metal 10 is packed with a mixture 9 whose active material is graphite fluoride, and said metal 10 is rolled to constitute a positive electrode 4. A collector piece 2a made of titanium or the like is installed at the center part of the upper end of the positive electrode 4. A metallic lithium is prepared as a negative electrode 1; and in the lower end of a curled end part like vortex, a collector 13 to which a leading 13b is welded to connect is pressed to introduce into the emboss or the expandent worked part 13 made of nickel and the collector 13 is made to be fixed. The quantity of electricity of the negative electrode 1 is adjusted so that it is larger than that of the positive electrode 4. The both positive and negative electrodes 4 and 1 are wraped in the separator 11 to constitute the vortex-shaped electrode group, and said electrode group is inserted into the battery case, thereafter non-electrolytic solution is also poured into said battery case, which is then hermetically sealed.
