PURPOSE:To obtain the title sheet which is excellent in thermal response, sticking of refuse and recording density and free from color development in a non- printed part by the remaining heat, by making a specified N-alkylbenzamide compound and a specified compound of phthalonitrile, fluorene of the like contained in a thermally color-developing layer. CONSTITUTION:In the thermally color-dveloping layer whose color-development constituents are leuco dye and an acid substance are further made contained the N-alkylbenzamide compound expressed by the formula (wherein R is C10-30alkyl; R2 is H, halogen, low-grade alkyl or the like) (A) and phthalonitrile, dimethyl tele (or iso) phthalate, p-toluenesulfonamide, p-phenylphenol, triphenylmethane, fluorene, benzylbenzoin, mandelic acid, diphenylphthalate, diphenysulfone, acetovanillon and/or ethylanthraquinone (B). It is preferable that the constituent A is made contained 0.1-3 times as much in weight as the color-development constituent and that the constituent B is made contained 1-3 times as much in weight as the dye. The layer thus prepared is applied on a supporting body.
