Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a subject device which is excellent in heat response property and a recording density, is reduced in work-up adhesion, and prevents from coloring due to the residual heat at a nonprinting part, by a method wherein a material, such as phthalonitril and the like, is contained in a heat-sensitive coloring component whose coloring component is Royco and acid material. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is composed such that a heat-sensitive coloring layer is placed on a support matter, coloring components of said layer being (A) leuco dye which is colorless or somewhat light color at the normal temperature [for example; 3,3-bis(p-dimethylaminophenyl)-6-dimethylaminophthalide and the like] and (B) a phenol acid material (for example; alpha-naphthole and the like) or organic acid (for example; benzoin acid and the like) which is colored by heat-reacting said leuco dye. In said sheet, (C) phthalonitril, p-toluensulfonamid, triphenylmethane is contained in said coloring layer. High grade fatty acid amid wax is further contained therein where necessary. EFFECT:A clear record having no ghost can be obtained even if it is used with high- speed recording.
