PURPOSE:To provide a multi-sheet heat-sensitive recording medium enables the simultaneous formation of clear and highly dense recording in plurality with a limited heat energy by arranging a diazo based heat sensitive color developing layer or a leuco based heat sensitive color developing layer between the surface of an uppermost sheet supporting body and each supporting body. CONSTITUTION:For example, an upper recording sheet T which has a diazo based heat sensitive color developing layer 11 containing a diazo compound (1), a coupler (2) and a hot melting material (3) with a melting point of 120 deg.C or less on the surface of a sheet supporting body 10 made of paper, plastic film or the like and a layer 12 containing a leuco dye (1') and a hot melting material (2') with a melting point of 120 deg.C or less on the back thereof and a lower recording sheet B which has a layer 21 containing an acid substance on the surface of a sheet supporting body 20 are tightly put together under pressure to obtain a recording medium. When a thermal printing is performed on the upper recording T of this medium a color developing character is recorded on the surface of the sheet B as well as the sheet T.
