Abstract
PURPOSE:For eliminating printing sound and reducing power consumption, to make printing of both the book and heat sensing recoring paper laid one upon the other with an energized heat sensing recording head. CONSTITUTION:On book printing, a heat sensing recoding head 8 is transferred onto a platen 13 and heat sensing printing paper 10 is pressed against the printing surface of a book 6. When the heat sensing pin of said heat sensing head 8 is heated selectively, heat sensing layer 16 is heated, and a binder 17 melts. Therefore, dye and color former are mixed and transferred onto said heat sensing printing paper 10 for printing. Transfer is also made onto said book 6 in contact with said heat sensing ing recoeding paper 10. Said heat sensing prinnting paper 10 transparent or semi-transparent can be viewed through the reverse side thereof for check when used as journal paper.
