Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the surface blush by compounding acetylene alcohol and acetylene glycol into a thermal recording layer consisting of coloring matter, phenolic compound and binder. CONSTITUTION:To obtain a thermal recording layer from a leuco compound colorless or light and coloring through reaction with an acidic matter, a specific phenolic compound solid at normal temperature but softened or fused at heating to develop in contact with the leuco compound, and a water soluble binder covering coloring agents in two components at dispersion but keeping both components from coloring at mixing, one kind or more of mixtures selected from acetylene alcohol and acetylene glycol are diffused in the water soluble binder. A quantity to add will be preferable at 0.05-20wt% to the leuco compound.
