PURPOSE:To obtain the bushing with excellent strength under heavy load and high dimensional accuracy by a method wherein high tension brass type sintering material or plumbiferous high tension brass type sintering material is integrally junctured on the outer periphery of a ring shape core metal provided with a shaft inserting hole. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, powder a, composition of which is same as that of high tension brass, and powder b or antidezincing agent are mixed in a mixer 8 to obtain powder mixture d. Secondly, the powder mixture d is filled in a heat resisting vessel 9, into which a raw core metal 10 is installed at a working table 14 in advance of the filling of the powder mixture d, around said raw core metal 10. After that, the heat resisting vessel 9 with the powder mixture d filled therewithin is inserted in a sintering furnace 13 to heat. As a result, the powder mixture d is sintered in the heat resisting vessel 9 and as well as welded on the outer surface of the raw core metal 10 into one body.
