Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the recovering time to a normal position of a vehicle height after finishing boarding and alighting of passengers by providing a boarding and alighting position detection sensor and constructing to stop the operation of an exhaust valve via a control switch by a detection signal from the sensor. CONSTITUTION:A supply valve 3, an exhaust valve 9 and a cut valve 13 are opened or closed via a controller 17 by detection signals from vehicle height reference position detection sensors 14, 15 to expand and contract suspensions 5, 6 so as to adjust the vehicle height to a normal position. When boarding or alighting of the passengers, a control switch 16 is manually operated to interrupt the detection signals from the sensors 14, 15 the valves i, 13 are opened to decrease the vehicle height lower than the normal position. Then, a sensor 18 detects it to release the lowering command of the switch 16. Thus, the valves 9, 13 are closed to maintain at boarding or alighting position. After the boarding or alighting is completed, the switch 16 is returned, and the sensors 14, 15 are connected to the controller 17. Thus the time of returning to the normal position can be shortened.
