Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a number of copies from a latent image, by using a photoreceptor produced by laminating a dielectric layer and a photoconductor layer on a conductor layer and repeating the processes of reverse development, transscription and cleaning respectively after the processes of electric charge, exposure and deletion of electric charge. CONSTITUTION:An electric charge holding layer 3 composed of a dielectric matter having a high insulating resistance and a photoconductor layer 4 are laminated on a conductive substrate 2 to obtain a photoreceptor 1. The photoreceptor 1 is charged with electricity evenly to the positive polarity for instance in the dark by a corona charger 31 (A). The positive electric charge is shifted to the interface between the layer 4 and 3 at a bright part L by irradiating an optical image (B). The electric charge on the surface of the layer 4 is leaked at a dark part D of the optical image by securing a contact between the surface of the photoreceptor 1 and a destaticizer member 32 such as an earthed conductive roller (C). In such a way, a latent image is formed. After this, the reverse development (D), transcription (E) and cleaning (F) are repeated respectively.
