Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform temp. measurement of high accuracy by measuring the coeffts. of diffuse reflection in an on-line state, and knowing the correct coeffts. of diffuse reflection of a fluctuating temp. measuring object. CONSTITUTION:Light B is projected from a light projection part A to an object surface and the reflected light B' thereof is measured in a photodetection part C. In the part C, the ratio I2/I1 of the specular reflection light L1 and the diffuse reflection light I2 of the circumference thereof is determined. This ratio corresponds to a coefft. of diffuse reflection (p), and it is possible to know the value of the coefft. (p) from the (p-I2/I1) characteristic curve D obtained beforehand. The radiation energy from a black body furnace is changed to two kinds of those at the high and low temps., and the energy E1 detected with a radiation meter at the low temp. and the energy E2 detected at the high temp. are measured. From these E1, E2 and the coefft. (p) of diffuse reflection, the surface temp. of the object is determined.
