Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform stable and perfect tight closure easily and surely by flattening the venting pipe of a case filled with the powder material to be treated, under fogging pressure, and cutting and welding the same in the state that it is pressure- grasped with pressure grasping jigs.
CONSTITUTION: Air is sucked and vented by a vacuum pump 4 from the venting pipe 2 of a capsule 1 filled with the powder material to be treated. The venting pipe 2 of the capsule 1 in a evacuated state is forged at a proper place with hammers 5, 5', whereby said part is press-fixed flat. The falt part of the venting pipe 3 is firmly press-grasped with press-grasping jigs 3 and is caulked to perfectly close the pipe hole. In this state the proper place at the upper end of the flat part is cut. In the state that the flat part is held press-grasped with the jigs 3, the cut face is welded to melt-stick and close the narrow gap of the cut face. Thereby, the seal which sufficiently withstands HIP treatment is perfected.
