Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a junction strength of a diffused junction face, by forming fine ruggedness on the surface to be fayed of the hard material out of materials of different kinds of metal and by cutting off surfaces to be fayed from air to perform hot hydrostatic pressure press treatment.
CONSTITUTION: Many fine rugged parts 5 are formed on the surface to be fayed of harder material 1a out of materials 1a and 1b consisting of different kinds of metal. All of circumferences of surfaces to be fayed of materials 1a and 1b are sealed from air by welding or strapping and are subjected to the hot hydrostatic pressure press treatment in the atmosphere of high-temperature and high-voltage gas. In this case, rugged parts of harder material 1a are thrust into softer material 1b with the surface form held as it is, and oxide film 6 existing on the surface to be fayed of material 1b is destructed and is cohered at a high temperature and becomes oxide cohered material 6' scattered along the fayed surface. Consequently, almost all of fayed surfaces become the strong junction part due to diffused junction between metals.
