Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate external discharge of a substance such as smoke or the like and to enable to utilize organic constituents contained in a substance to be fused as fuel gas by a method wherein the substance to be fused in a fusing furnace is fused by heat dissipation of a heat exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: A heater 3 is heated by a heating burner 6. In this case, combustion air 14 therefor is preheated in an air preheater 7 and is supplied to the burner 6 through a blower 10 and waste gas 15 of the heater passing through the heater 3 is introduced to a secondary side of the air preheater 7 while fusing furnace waste gas 16 of a fusing furnace 1 is also introduced into the secondary side of the preheater 7 similarly and heat of the respective gas is given to the combustion air, thereafter, one of the waste gases is stayed there and the other waste gas is introduced to outside of this system through a gas refiner 8. Consequently, the substance having a high fusing point is fused in the fusing furnace 1 by receiving heat in a heat exchanger 2 while the substance to be fused 11 being thrown into the furnace is fused sequentially by being mixed therewith and subsequently a molten substance 12 is taken out of a withdrawal port 5 sequentially.
