Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively recover the heat of the waste gas of an annealing furnace without degrading an air fuel ratio by preheating the air for fuel and fuel gas for heating an annealing furnace by using said waste gas.
CONSTITUTION: The coil 4 put in an annealing furnace 1 is heated with burners 5, whereby it is annealed. Air A for fuel is preheated to predetermined temp. through heat exchangers 3a, 3b, 3c for air installed in the waste gas take-out ports 2a, 2b, 2c which take out the waste gas (c) from the annealing furnace 1, and this preheated air A' for fuel is sent to the burners 5. A fuel gas B is preheated to predetermined temp. through a heat exchanger 3d provided in the waste gas take-out port 2d which takes out the waste gas (c) from the furnace 1, and this preheated fuel gas B' is sent to the burners 5. In the burners 5, the preheated air A' and gas B' are burned at a suitable air fuel ratio, whereby the inside of the furnace 1 is heated.
