Abstract
PURPOSE: To amke effective use of heat and prevent the thermal stress wear of the furnaces by introducing the exhaust gas of the heating furnaces of higher temperatures to the heating furnaces of lower temperature in the operation of plural heating furnaces.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust flues 4, 5, 6 of plural heating furnaces 1, 2, 3 and the heating or preheating zones of other heating furnaces are communicated by way of dampers 11, 12, 13. For example, the operation of the furnace 1 is started and after the temperature of the furnace 1 has sufficiently risen, the exhaust gas of the exhaust flue 4 is introduced into the furnaces 2, 3. After the operation of the furnace 1 has been finished, the operation of the furnace 2 is started and the introduction of the exhaust gas into the furnaces 2, 3 from the exhaust flue 4 is continued until the furnace 1 becomes of a low temperature.
