Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce blast furnace fuel and to perform highly efficient production advantgeously by providing 3 units of checker brick heater to one unit of a blast furnace, and performing hot blast production, air preheating and combustion and regeneration of combustion heat successively cyclically.
CONSTITUTION: Air is fed via valves V21, V22 to the inside of a hot stove H1 by which it is heated to high temp. wind, which is blasted via a valve V23 to a blast furnace. During this time, air is introduced through valves V24, V25 into a stove H3 which had produced the hot wind till then, whereby said air is heated. This heated air is fed via valves V26, V27 into a stove H2, and a blast furnace gas is fed via valves V28, V29 to the stove H2. Then, in the furnace H2, the blast furnace gas is burned by the preheating air, and the temp. of the furnace H2 rises. The waste combustion gas is released through valves V30, V31 into a chimney. When the temp. of the stove H1 lowers, the high temp. hot wind is fed into the blast furnace by using the stove H2, and the furnace H1 is used for preheating the air and the stove H3 for combustion and regeneration of the combustion heat. In this way, the stoves H1, H2, H3 are used cyclically.
