CONSTITUTION: Part of the gas produced from a blast furnace 3 is branched from just before a septum valve 22 and is supplied as fuel into hot stoves 1b, c in a combustion period. At the same time, part of the hot wind to be supplied from a hot stove 1a in a blasting period to the furnace 3 is introduced as air for combustion into the hot stoves 1b, c in the combustion period. Thereupon, the high pressure gases of the blast furnace are burned by the air of high pressure in the hot stoves 1b, c in the combustion period and a power generating installation 33 is driven by the waste gas of combustion of high pressure produced by this.
