Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the liquid swishing-off effect at the liquid swishing-off start time, by forming a developer adhesion part dependent upon charging and development, which purposes eliminating practically a gap for excess adhesion developer removing material, forward in the advance direction of a photoreceptor in the picture forming region. CONSTITUTION:Picture 12 to be transferred to the recording material such as the transfer paper is formed on the surface of photoreceptor 1 dependently upon prescribed charging, exposure and development. Developer adhesion part 14 dependent upon charging and development is formed forward in the advance direction of the photoreceptor in this picture formed region 13. By this developer adhesion part 14, gap G for aqueeze roller 7 becomes narrow practically. This developer adhesion part 14 is formed by performing charging and development at the timing earlier than the original picture forming time. As a result, the liquid swishing-off effect becomes sharp at the liquid swishing-off start time, and the developer is prevented from adhering to the photoreceptor much partially, and the copying performance is improved.
