Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the compact and light weight transformer for the vehicle wherein inductive interferance is small, by arranging magnetic body which is magnetically saturated by a rated current between the primary and secondary windings, and giving nonlinearity to the reactance characteristics of the transformer. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic body 18 such as a silicon steel plate and the like is arranged between the primary winding 2 and the divided secondary windings 3-6. Therefore, the reactance of the transformer is affected. If the material and the dimensions of the magnetic body are adjusted, the perfect saturation occurrs at the rated current IR. The reactance can be quickly increased at the 50% rated current I50 or less. Since the reactance becomes large in the small current region, the equivalent interfering current can be decreased. The magnetic body can also serve as an electrostatic shielding plate, and the same characteristics as obtained by installing the saturatable reactor at the outside can be obtained.
