Abstract
867,606. Transformers. TELEFUNKEN G.m.b.H. Aug. 15, 1957 [Aug. 22, 1956], No. 25782/57. Class 38 (2). A H.V. transformer for television receivers comprises a closed core on which a high-voltage winding is eccentrically mounted. As shown a L.V. winding 3 is mounted on a limb of a ferrite core 1 and passes through an eccentrically bored disc 4 on which a H.V. winding 5 is mounted so that the peripheral point 7 is at a distance from core limb 8 to prevent discharges. A synthetic material cap 6 surrounds the winding also to minimize discharges. The mounting for the H.V. winding may be independent of the L.V. winding for example in one of the ways disclosed in Specification 867,605, or on a different limb.
