991,458. Transformers. E. K. COLE Ltd., and A. E. KING. July 19, 1962 [July 21, 1961], No. 26440/61. Heading H1T. A transformer has an output winding 1 encircled by or encapsulated in dielectric material 2 which serves also as a hood and support 3 for the end of a valve and its connection 5 with the winding. 1 may be the E.H.T. winding of a transformer for a television set and the support 3 may be for the associated rectifier valve. One end of the dielectric band 2 may pass through a slot in the other end of the band and be fixed by wedge 4, connection 5 passing through a hole in the band and into the mouth of the hood so as to contact the end terminal of the valve. The winding may be encapsulated in the dielectric.
