Abstract
815,820. Inductors. COLE Ltd., E. K., and KING, A. E. April 30, 1956 [April 30, 1955], No. 12596/55. Class 38 (2). In an inductance coil assembly for R.F. tuning, a magnetic core 6 is mounted at the end of a spindle 4 of deformable material (e.g. polythene or nylon) provided with longitudinal ribs 5, so that on screwing the spindle through a threaded aperture in a plate 3 a thread is cut in the ribs. The coil 2 is mounted on a polythene former 1 on the plate 3 so that the former, spindle and aperture are coaxial. Specification 763,488 is referred to.
