Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a high tensile galvanized steel plate of superior workability by heating the steel plate of specific composition in a continuously galvanizing line then quick cooling the same by means of cooling rotators and subjecting it to galvanization then further subjecting the same to quick cooling treatment. CONSTITUTION:A steel contg. <0.20% C, <0.30% Si, 1.0-2.5% Mn, <0.030% P, <0.020% S, and 0.01-0.10% Sol. Al, or further added with 0.01-0.20% of one of V, Nb, Ti or in total of two kinds, or further contg. 0.05-2.00% one of Cr or Mo or in total of both and having been subjected to component control so that the amounts of Si and Mn become SiX5+Mn<2.5 is rolled to a steel plate. This steel plate is heated to 720-900 deg.C in a continuously galvanizing line. Next, it is quick cooled down to 500-460 deg.C by water-cooled cooling rotators and is subjected to galvanization at these temperatures, thence it is quick cooled to <=350 deg.C by water spraying etc.
