Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare the high strength zinc hot dipping steel plate with a low yield ratio by a method wherein a steel material containing C, Mn, P, Al in a specific ratio is subjected to predetermined treatment to make a steel plate and the zinc hot dipping is applied to said steel plate at a specific temp. CONSTITUTION:A steel consisting of 0.02-0.10% C, 1.6-2.5% Mn, 0.07% or less Si, 0.03-0.10% P, 0.01-0.10% Al and the remainder of Fe and inevitable impurities is formed into a slab. The resulting slab is processed into a steel plate or a steel strip under a conventional manufacturing condition through a hot rolling process, a pickling process and a cold rolling process. Said steel plate or strip is passed through a Sendzimin type zinc hot dipping apparatus and the zinc hot dipping or the alloying zinc plating is applied in said apparatus under such a condition that an in-line annealing temp. is set to above an Ac1 transformation point and below an Ac3 transformation point. Thereby, the zinc hot dipping steel plate with excellent processability of which a yield ratio is about 0.7 or less and tensile strength is about 50kg/mm or more is obtained.
