Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of the hydraulic power generation by accelerating the speed of water flow acting on a turbine by impulse waves generated by discharging electricity in the pressure gas within a tightly closed cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: Water stored in a water source 20 passes through a water conductive pipe 21, and is introduced in a discharge cylinder 23 through a check valve 22, and rotates a turbine 25 through a flow quantity regulating valve 24, and discharged through a water exhaust pipe 26. Water introduced into the discharge cylinder 23 through the check valve 22, is gradually stored in the discharge cylinder 23 through the check valve 22 by the pipe resistance of the flow quantity controlling valve 24, the turbine and the like to increase the gas pressure within the discharge cylinder 23. In a case where this gas pressure has reached a maximum pressure, when a discharge of electricity is generated, a strong and fierce pressure is applied to the stored water by the synergistic operation of impulse waves resilient waves and rapid thermal expansion of the gas to be compressed, and the speed of the flow directed toward the turbine is accelerated and the turbine is strongly rotated to generate a power. The impulse wave and the like are difficult to attenuate in water and effectively transmitted to the turbine vanes.
