Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize a wind energy effectively and thus to increase output by rotating a wind mill to drive a generator with a strong ascending current.
CONSTITUTION: A suction pipe 2 is arranged with its blowoff port 2b facing in a lower side opening 1c of a spiral cylinder 1, and a suction port 2a of the suction pipe 2 is provided against the wind together with a rewind port 1a of the spiral cylinder 1. There is generated in the spiral cylinder 1 a spiral vortex with a discharge current of the wind blasted into the suction pipe 2 and a turning current of the wind blasted from the rewind port 1a, and the spiral vortex is exhausted from an upper side opening 1b. A velocity of the discharge current (ascending) at the blowoff port 2b of the suction pipe 2 is increased by occurrence of the spiral vortex, and a wind mill 3 can be rotated and driven more effectively than in the case of a mere natural wind. A turning device with the wind as a power source is provided to follow a change in the wind direction, and a generator 4 is rotated and driven at all times regardless of the changing wind direction.
