Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compound useful as a drug for digestive system in high yield without a side reaction, by reacting a novel compound as a raw material obtained from the reaction of 2-methoxy-5-sulfamoylbenzoic acid and a trimer of phosphorus nitride chloride with 1-ethyl-2-aminomethylpyrrobidine.
CONSTITUTION: A novel compound shown by the formula I (R is 2-methoxy-5- sulfamoylbenzene) as a raw material is reacted with 1-ethyl-2-aminomethylpyrrolidine to give a 1-ethyl-2-(2-methoxy-5-sulfamoylbenzamidomethyl) pyrrolidine in a yield of not less than 60%. The raw material shown by the formula I is obtained by reacting 2-methoxysulfamoylbenzoic acid shown by the formula III with a trimer of phosphorus nitride chloride shown by the formula IV in the presence of a tertiary amine.
