Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A bridge device 1 is constituted, as shown by a dotted line, by a variable resistance R3, a parallel circuit of a variable capacitor C4 and a fixed resistance R4 connected in paralled to the resistance R3, and a detector D connected between the above parallel circuit and the variable resisntace R3, and is built monolithically in an apparatus. In addition, a power source Ea and a standard capacitor Cs are also connected. And, by using a super-low-frequency power source as the power source, the floating electrostatic capacity Co between the power source and the earth is controlled to be small and thereby the error in measurement of the electric loss tangent is reduced.
