Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the efficiency of the boiler and to save its fuel consumption, by employing an arrangement in which inner and outer water passages are formed in a double structure and gas in a combustion chamber is led to a lower portion in a hollow space formed between inner and outer cases and then passed upward while causing convection in the combustion chamber.

CONSTITUTION: In an outer case 1 having a cylindrical water passage 3 and a disk-line water passage 4 connected to the lower end of passage 3, there is placed an inner case 2 having a cylindrical water passage 5, in the manner that a cylindrical space 6 is formed on the outside of inner case 2 and a hollow space 7 is formed between the inner and outer case 1 and 2 at the rear end of cylindrical space 6. The front ends of inner and outer cases 2, 1 are closed by a front plate 8 and cylindrical water passages 3, 5 are communicated with each other via upper and lower connecting pipes 9, 10. A water inlet port 11 are formed at the lower end of outer case 1 and a hot-water outlet port 12 is formed at the upper end. At upper portions in cylindrical space 6 on both sides thereof, there are provided partition plates 13 extended at its rear end to water passage 4 and having a space between its front end and front plate 8. Further, a space 7' is formed by a closure plate 15 and a partition plate 14 at the portion thereof located in space 7, and a flame outlet port 17 is opened in the space 7'. The front plate 8 is formed with a flame inlet port 16 which is opened inside the inner case 2.
