Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish efficient heating of air with a minimal consumption of fuel, by arranging a stove such that a room to be heated is heated by the natural function (radiation of heat) of the stove and also by hot wind produced in a hot- wind tank disposed adjacently of a combustion chamber in the stove and discharged to the surroundings of the stove.
CONSTITUTION: A combusting section 3 consisting of a lower combusting pot 3A and an upper combustion chamber 3B is formed above a hot-wind diffusing chamber 2 at one side thereof, and a hot-wind tank 4 is disposed adjacently of the combustion chamber 3B. In the hot-wind tank 4, there is extended an exhaust pipe 5 functioning also as a heat exchanger, in the manner that one end of the pipe 5 is opened in combustion chamber 3B while the other end is communicated to an exhaust pipe 6. Further, the hot-wind tank 4 is connected to a heating section 7 disposed around pot 3A, and the heating section 7 is in turn communicated to a hot- wind diffusing chamber 2. In the above arrangement, when the flame produced in combusting pot 3A is passed through pipe 5 and discharged to the outside from exhaust pipe 6, air in tank 4 is heated. Air thus heated is carried through heating section 7 and discharged into the room to be heated from outlet ports 2A formed in side faces of chamber 2 by means of a fan 8.
