1377707 Sectional boiler; fluent fuel fired boilers PARCA-NORRAHAMMAR AB 24 Aug 1972 [26 Aug 1971] 39452/72 Headings F4A and F4B In a sectional boiler having a flame chamber 9 and a convection heat exchange portion, arcuately-shaped flue gas passages 22 partially encircle the flame chamber 9 and the passages 22 are in communication with the flame chamber through ports 23 in the flame chamber wall which extend tangentially to the arcuate crosssectional wall of the gas passages 22. Each of the passages 22 discharge into a flue gas collecting passage 25 through an outlet port 24 at the end of each passage 22. The flue gas passages 22 are provided with inspection and de-sooting opening 26 covered during operation of the boiler. A de-sooting opening 30 for passage 25 is provided. Water is conducted through the boiler through inlet passages 19, ring passages 17 and outlet passages 18.
