Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively obtain the cake having a low water content rate and also, to obtain the disconnecting liquid having a low SS and COD and easy to after-treat, by adding ferric chloride and slaked lime or Ca salts to anaerobic digestive slurry directly and then, filtering and dehydrating the whole quantity after mixing reaction.
CONSTITUTION: Digestive slurry in the anaerobic digestion vessel 1, is introduced into the mixing reaction vessel 2 being capable of controlling the level of liquid face by the overflow wall 3. Ferric chloride and slaked lime or Ca salts (for example CaCO3), are injected in the vessel 2 from the upper injection opening 5 and these are fully mixed with the digestive slurry by the stirrer 4. Next, reacted digestive slurry is introduced into the mixing drum 6 from the lower part of the vessel 2 and moreover is introduced into the sieve drum 7 after adding and mixing the flocculant, if necessary. Then, free water in the slurry is dropped by the drum 7 and concentrated slurry is passed through the belt type dehydrator 8 moreover and then, dehydrated cake is discharged 9. On the one hand, disconnected liquid is flowed out 11 to the next waste water treating apparatus from the bottom of the receiver 10 provided with the lower part of the dehydrator 8.
