Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of transformer by using a tap switching device at on-load in parallel wherein tap change-over is permitted. CONSTITUTION:Winding units 1A, 1B of a series winding 1 are wound on the main leg C of a core by placing the units upon the main leg in a winding axis direction and a primary terminal H is connected to a central section to use the winding units 1A, 1B in parallel. Shunt main windings 10A, 10B of a shunt winding 2 are connected to the upper end and the lower end of the winding units 1A, 1B respectively. Furthermore, shunt auxiliary windings 11A, 11B are connected between the shunt main windings 10A, 10B and the winding units 1A, 1B respectively and two parallel circuits are formed. Tap winding units 3A, 3B performing tap change-over are connected to the first and the second taps 4A, 4B connected to a neutral terminal N in series and the tap winding units 3A, 3B are also connected to the shunt main windings 10A, 10B. And the secondary terminal M is connected to a joint point of the winding units 1A, 1B and the auxiliary windings 11A, 11B. A tap switching device at on-load is used in parallel to facilitate the tap change-over and the degree of freedom is given to the design of transformer.
