Abstract
PURPOSE:To minimize the shape of a coil formed and the dispersion of its assembly in a yoke and perform an automatic production of the yoke in a uniform and highly accurate fashion, by applying a conductive metallic film in saddle-shaped coil grooves on inner and outer circumferential surfaces of a cylindrical insulator. CONSTITUTION:On inner and outer circumferential surfaces of a cylindrical insulator 2 made of plastic, saddle-shaped coil grooves 6 are formed when a work of plastic molding is performed, and fully on said surfaces a conductive film 5 made of copper foil is formed once by the method of nonconductor plating. Ane then the top part of the groove 6 is removed by the method of barrel grinding to form saddle- shaped vertical and horizontal coils 3, 4 on the inner and outer circumferential surfaces with a residual conductor 4a. In this way, a uniform deflecting yoke with a high accuracy having a correct relation of mutual position of the coil can be automatically produced at a good yield rate.
