Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to observe great field of vision with small window area, by locating two lenses constituting afocal system between the optical system scanning set and the infrared-ray transmission window. CONSTITUTION:The furnace wall 1 is provided with the infrared-ray transmission window 2, and the optical scanning set 3 consisting of the X direction scanning mirror M1 of prism type turning around the shaft J and of the Y direction scanning mirror M2 located above, is provided. Between the scanning set 3 and the window 2, the X, Y direction polarized point P is placed at the focus of the lens 4 or near the focus, and the two lenses 4, 5 constituting the afocal system are located so that the window 2 is located at the focus of the lens 5 or near the focus. The infrared rays picked up through the window 2 and via the lenses 4, 5 are detected at the detector 7 via the lens 6. Thus, broader field of vision than conventional methods can be assured with small window.
