Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve detection precision by arranging a couple of lenses in the opening of one condenser lens with optical axes of all lenses in parallel, by providing a light source and halved photodetecting surfaces in focus surfaces of the couple of lenses, and by detecting an object position with the output difference between two photodetecting surfaces of the image of the light source on the object surface.
CONSTITUTION: In the opening of one condenser lens L2, a couple of lenses L1 and L2 are arranged so that their optical axes x2, x1, and x3 will all be in parallel. In the focus surface of lens L1, spot light source 3 is arranged and in the focus surface of lens L2, halved photodetecting surface 6 is provided.
