Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a light passage for incoming and radiation of light, by conducting switchover between receiving and transmitting of infrared rays with a photoswitch forming a light axis used in common between both the purposes of transmitting and receiving of the light using a Cassegrainian reflector which is absent of light-incoming window. CONSTITUTION:A telescope, which is designed to serve for the purposes of transmitting and receiving of light, is provided on the light axis on the other side of the reflector 9 of the Cassegrainian reflector. And a pulse shaped infrared ray is radiated from a TEA laser L, and after passing through a light passage (a) it enters the photoswitch 20. The infrared ray radiated from the TEA laser L is reflected by the reflector 9, made to enter the Cassegrainian reflector 10 and radiated in the direction indicated by a light passage (b). Further, scattered lights coming from an object enter the photoswitch 20 following conversely the light passage (b). As the photoswitch 20 maintains the periodical switchover system between transmitting and receiving of the infrared rays utilizing the motion of piezoelectric element, it is possible to use the single light passage for both incoming and radiation of the lights.
