Abstract

A device for two-dimensional scanning in the infrared wavelength range has an objective system 1, a radiation-sensitive detector D and a first scanning element 2 which is included between the objective system and the detector. Between the first scanning element 2 and the detector D there are provided two radiation paths which each include a second scanning element 4 and 4' and an intermediate objective 8, 9 and 8', 9. As the scanning length of the second scanning element 4 in the first radiation path 20, 4, 8, 10, 21, 11, 9, D is greater than that of the second scanning element 4' in the second radiation path 4', 8', 10', 11, 9, D and as the intermediate objective of the first and the second radiation path respectively forms an enlarged and a reduced image of the detector D in the focal plane of the objective system, scanning with two fields of view is possible without changing the aperture of the objective system 1. <IMAGE>
